In a complex environment, communication is an important key to success.

There is also important communication beyond the processing of tasks, such as distributing information across projects or departments. Providing relevant information across a team or department boundaries helps bring one's position and small successes to the recipients and create awareness for one's agenda.

WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Misunderstandings in, or the lack of, communication is a common problem in complex work environments. The wording is too different. The individual goals are too different to reach a common understanding here. In a project, clear communication is important to reach the common goal as quickly and efficiently as possible. But there is also communication outside of projects that are often neglected. Do your own employees receive information about the company or department's internal and external matters in a form they can understand? Often this is important information to assist in decision making. We develop a communication strategy both for projects and for the provision of information outside of projects.

WHAT IS IN IT FOR YOU?

By reducing misunderstandings and communicating results, goals, and risks, any project team will achieve better results. Communication outside of projects, positioning one's own goals, listing one's successes, and flowing information from the company- or department-wide events to recipients in an exciting and compelling form is an essential key medium- and long-term success.

WHAT HAVE OTHERS ACHIEVED?

In the course of a transformation of an IT department (and the company-wide processes affected by it), it was also suggested to work on IT's communication to the other departments as a strategy. The goal was to communicate the results and what is done daily within IT to the other colleagues, independently of projects, to create awareness and show what all being implemented and achieved is. An internal marketing concept was developed, which helped enormously with newly designed newsletters, blog posts, and information events to communicate all the changes and improvements to the customer.
